How to Request Account Deletion
- Open the Gogoldo app and go to Profile or Settings.
- Select Account, Privacy, or Delete Account where available.
- Confirm the request using your registered mobile number or OTP.
- If the in-app option is unavailable, email support with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
Identity Verification
For security, we may verify your registered mobile number, email, recent transaction details, or relationship with the participating jewellery shop before processing deletion.
Data We Delete or De-identify
After approval, we delete or de-identify profile information, marketing preferences, device tokens, optional uploads, and other personal data that is not required for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or transaction purposes.
Data We May Need to Retain
Financial records, invoices, KYC/compliance records, payment references, fraud-prevention logs, dispute records, and jewellery scheme transaction history may be retained for the period required by Indian law, regulators, banks, payment providers, or legitimate legal claims. Retained data is restricted and is not used for marketing.
Processing Timeline
We acknowledge requests as soon as reasonably possible and normally complete eligible deletion requests within 30 days, unless additional verification or legally required retention applies.
Submit a Deletion Request
Please include your registered name and mobile number. Never send passwords, OTPs, full card details, or UPI PINs.
